**Description**

We are currently seeking a friendly and reliable Warehouse Operative to join our team. As a Warehouse Operative in a metal finishing company based in Tunstall.

You will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our warehouse, including receiving, storing, and distributing products to various departments. This is a great opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment and contribute to the successful operation of our company.

**Responsibilities**
- Receive and check incoming merchandise from suppliers and ensure accuracy of deliveries
- Pick and pack orders accurately and efficiently
- Load and unload trucks, ensuring proper handling and storage of products
- Conduct regular inventory counts to ensure accuracy and proper stock levels
- Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment
- Taking stock to various departments throughout the warehouse

**Requirements**:

- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proven experience working in a warehouse or similar environment
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in work
- Ability to lift heavy items and perform physical tasks for extended periods of time
- Good organizational and time management skills
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team

Monday to Friday 7:30am - 18:00pm (during training period)

After training
- Mornings / Noons / Nights (rotating)

**Job Types**: Full-time, Temp to perm
Contract length: 3 months

Pay: From £11.44 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 45 per week

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- No weekends

**Experience**:

- Warehouse experience: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Driving Licence (preferred)
