Housekeeping Supervisor

You’ll be commercial, inventive, motivational and attentive. We’re looking for someone who can take hold of the hotel apartments as if they were their own.

Our properties are unique, very well reviewed and situated in some of the best locations in central Bath. We are very lucky to have a fantastic product, at a good price point and pride ourselves on not providing a homogenous and sterile service.

Your Daily Role:
This role reports into our Housekeeping Manager and works alongside another Housekeeping Supervisor. The role is a mixture as, some days, you will be doing housekeeping but other days you will be running the entire shift and deputising for the Manager. We are very lucky to have a fantastic housekeeping team and, if you have any questions, please don't hesitate to ask

To ensure that the highest standards of cleanliness are sustained throughout the hotel and organise special cleaning duties to be carried out. This is managed via our specialist app.

To exercise effective linen and stock control in the housekeeping department using internal processes.

Monitor occupancy on an ongoing basis and prepare staff rota according to business needs.

Manage all housekeeping employees, plan and assign work assignments and provide training for newly recruited employees.

Audit and inspect housekeeping work assignments.

To work autonomously and make decisions independently to manage the housekeeping function.

Train and develop housekeepers and linen porters and deputise when necessary.

Develop, manage and communicate all necessary policies and procedures.

Monitor and action guest feedback as necessary keeping management informed.

Report to Head Housekeeper.

An effervescent, enthusiastic, self-driven and determined housekeeper, ideally with experience of working in an independent hotel.

Ability to maintain a team environment that promotes good employee morale and ensures a high level of commitment and pride in the business.

Experience in training, managing and monitoring team performance.

An ability to react to and solve problems calmly and effectively and continually deliver high standards.

Solid experience in hotel operations.

Experience in linen stock management process and all other stock including cleaning materials and mini-bar supplies.

Good Microsoft Excel skills for management of stock and rota.

Ability to delegate and deputise when required to ensure the housekeeping function has the necessary management capability to cover absences and holidays cover.

**Salary**: £22,000.00-£23,000.00 per month
