A well-respected Specialist School in Melksham is looking for a Mental Health Teaching Assistant to support children with Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs. The pupils' range between 5 and 18 years and have a range of difficulties, including trauma,anxiety, OCD, and behavioural issues. The students therefore need a Mental Health Assistant who is understanding, proactive and up for a challenge

The school has small class sizes, allowing for greater 1:1 time for pupils and stronger relationships between staff and students. The school also focuses on promoting inclusivity and diversity in every aspect of school life. It encourages the developmentof appropriate social skills and uses positive thinking to overcome any school-related issues. The successful Mental Health Teaching Assistant will therefore bring enthusiasm, passion, and positivity to the classroom.
