**The role**

The Receptionist is an extremely important part of the team and is the main point of contact for patients and a focus point for visitors. With full responsibility for the reception area the team perform a vital communication role connecting the wider administrative functions of the business.

**Duties and responsibilities**:

- Answering and actioning incoming calls.
- Arranging and rearranging patient appointments.
- Provide administrative support and back-up as required to the Patient Liaison Department and Accounts Team.
- Responsible for sending out medical records.
- Meet and greet visitors.
- Support meetings including setup and cleaning of room, arranging lunch and refreshments, water and stationery etc.
- Opening and distributing incoming post.
- Franking outgoing post.
- Scanning documents.
- General administration e.g. filling, franking, shredding and stationery ordering.
- Responsible for kitchen tidying at the end of the day.
- To perform any other administrative duties to support the business of OHG as identified by the Head of Service Delivery.
