**Purpose and objectives of the role**
We’re looking for an experienced billings administrator to join our Accounts Receivable Team.
**Main duties and responsibilities**
- Creating and proactively maintaining billing schedules and record keeping
- Liaising with internal teams regarding billing work
- Working with colleagues to ensure efficient, effective, and accurate working
- Liaising with third parties regarding billing process
- Assist the Accounts Receivable Team Leader with payment of bills
- Handle billing queries
- Preparing financial reports using excel formulas and pivot tables
- Responsible for accurately billing specific customer accounts in line with agreed SLA
- Ensuring that invoices are raised in a timely manner
- Any other ad-hoc duties given from the Finance team
- Identify issues using reporting methods to maintain compliance with internal & external SLAs around transaction and billing accuracies and timeliness
- Assist with root-cause analysis to identify solutions to exceptions, errors, and process gaps.
**Knowledge, skills & experience**
- Previous billing experience
- Shows an enthusiastic approach with the ability to use own initiate to solving problems
- The ability to build and maintain relationships
- Attention to detail
- Strong analytical skills
**Locations, Hours and Benefits**
- 40 Hours, Monday to Friday
- Based in HFL Head Office, Denton
- 23 Holidays plus 8 days bank holidays
