We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Cancer MDT Tracker who is seeking to enhance their skills and knowledge within the Cancer department. A keen team player, you will play a key role leading the MDT Teams to assist with the delivery of a high-quality weekly MDT..

The role will be based cross site. The hours are 24 a week.

Knowledge of hospital-based systems desirable however not essential.

There has never been a more exciting time to join West Hertfordshire Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust Major redevelopment works are planned as part of the New Hospital Programme. These will be most dramatic at Watford General Hospital where up to 90% of buildings will be new.

You will be responsible for tracking all cancer referrals from referral through to treatment, monitoring wait times and making escalations to clinical teams to ensure compliance with national Cancer Waiting Time targets are met.

You will be responsible for the daily tracking and validation of Patients. You will need to assist in the preparation of MDT meetings, processing & validating outcomes.

You will be liaising closely with other tertiary sites and obtaining and recording significant data requirements. You will be expected to assist with weekly meetings with both the clinical teams and CNS outside of the MDT itself.
