Experienced business development manager required to join a leading technical communications company based in Bradley Stoke, Gloucestershire, just 6 miles out of Bristol. This is a full time, permanent position, based from Bristol but offering hybrid workingto cater to the UK wide customer base. The succesful BDM will be selling a range of video conferencing packages to a broad range of clients from Theatres, corporate offices and professional services.

**Business Development ManagerPosition Overview**

To acquire and maintain the required knowledge of the products and services of the Company.

To work within the sales framework as instructed by the Managing Director.

To sell systems and services in accordance with the Company's policies and procedures.

To create, develop, maintain and enhance the Company's image in the assigned portfolio.

To 'own' all named accounts in order to develop further business.

To have a detailed action plan for each named account.

To optimise time and plan effectively to ensure a sufficient number of meetings take place each week to achieve the required sales performance.

To maintain an up-to-date record of planned activities and contact with all clients and prospects through the Company database (Clik).

To prepare and record in the database the agenda in advance of each client meeting

To document in the database the content and outcomes of each client meeting at the end of each day.

To use professional sales techniques to prospect and achieve profitable revenues.

To use professional sales skills to present the Company's products and services to decision makers, budget holders and senior executives in order to win the business.

To ensure client satisfaction at all times by being the focal point within the Company for all named accounts.

To provide feedback through formal reporting on Company image, competitive activity and sales opportunities not being exploited.

**Business Development ManagerPosition Requirements**

A proven track record in sales as a BDM with an excellent sales vs target ratio
A confident communicator, negotiator and deal closer with vast UK selling experience.

**Business Development ManagerPosition Remuneration**

£40,000 - £50,000 per annum
