Meetings & Events Coordinator (Maternity Cover)

We are looking for someone with an outgoing personality to share their passion for the hospitality industry. You should be motivated by client satisfaction and enjoy the challenge of organising meetings, weddings and events. This is a great opportunity to continue your development in a busy, multi property events role.
**Responsibilities**:
- You’ll be responsible for proactively responding to all enquiries (corporate, social and Wedding) in a timely, confident & professional manner, taking every opportunity to up sell and identify sales opportunities
- Booking meetings into the Scarlet and Bedruthan hotels and ensuring a smooth client experience
- Conducting client show rounds and appointments, displaying a clear & comprehensive knowledge of the venue, menus and packages
- Contacting clients regarding contracts, invoices, processing deposits and payments. Producing detailed proposals for prospective clients and client contracts, liaising to ascertain their precise event requirements and ensuring clients aware of the full terms of business
- Filing contracts and correspondence within a specified time frame
- Qualify new lead data and research key contact information
- Completing competitor analysis, keeping on top of trends and competitor offerings
- Assist with client entertainment and trade shows/travel fairs when needed
- Ensure all administration is completed effectively and accurately to provide a smooth handover to relevant teams
- Understanding of financial aspects of the job and working alongside Sales targets
- Ensuring the highest level of customer satisfaction, both pre-post and during each event. Conducting post event feedback requests to check satisfaction and secure repeat business if appropriate
- Holding strong working relationships with all departments, including, kitchen, front of house and head office
- Carrying out spot checks at events, ensuring high operational standards are met at the venue
Due to the nature of the role you may be required to work some evenings and occasional weekends.
