Role: Volunteering Executive_**
- The Air Ambulance Service provides two very important functions, Helicopter Emergency Medical Services (HEMS) and The Children’s Air Ambulance (TCAA) which provides paediatric transfers across the UK. Our objective is to save lives, utilising specialist pilots, doctors, and paramedics and with our work centred on saving lives, improving clinical outcomes and being able to react quickly and efficiently to emergencies.
- We are at the forefront of innovative clinical care, and we challenge boundaries. None of this can be achieved without a hugely dedicated team of colleagues, volunteers, and the public.
- The Volunteering Executive will be based within the Volunteer Service Hub. The post is to support promoting our volunteer opportunities across all the regions in which we operate for both HEMS and TCAA. Our volunteers are critical to the success of our organisation and the role will include significantly growing, diversifying, and optimising our volunteer community.

You will recruit volunteers out in the community and promote our opportunities online by identifying and working with external partners who can support this. We have volunteers in all areas of our organisation. It will be crucial to engage with other teams to ensure that we have volunteers to support the delivery of individual departmental strategies.

**Role Responsibilities**
- Help grow our volunteering community by attracting a diverse range of volunteers to engage with our organisation.
- Work with external partners to ensure our brand becomes the organisation of choice for volunteers.
- Become confident with our volunteer management system, creating reports to monitor performance and analyse patterns/trends
- Maintain a thorough understanding of all the stages of the recruitment process to advise and support others
- Organise and attend events to promote our volunteering opportunities
- Liaise with our Marketing Team to engage volunteers through online channels

This is a hybrid role with 2 days at one of our sites and 3 days working from home.
