**Cover Supervisor - Ideal role for Graduates interested in a career in Teaching**

We are looking to recruit a Cover Supervisor to supervise whole classes during short-term Class Teacher absence. In this role, you will have the guidance of a Cover Manager and other Teaching staff in school.

We have both part-time (ad-hoc) and full-time roles available in a number of schools across Sheffield, Rotherham, Barnsley and Doncaster.

The role:

- Working flexibly across a Secondary school setting, implementing work programmes and behavioural management
- Establish positive and productive working relationships with students - Acting as a role model in school and promoting high expectations for learning/behaviour
- Monitoring and evaluating student progress and recording achievements
- Encouraging students work co-operatively in groups but also the confidence to work independently when required
- Keen to learn and take advantage of CPD opportunities in school
- Strong literacy, numeracy and ICT skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills - Confident and personable
- Proactive and able to use initiative

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
