The post holder will support the Head of Contracting & Costing by leading on the negotiation and management of the Trust’s mental health contracts. They will be responsible for a contract portfolio budget of circa £115m, ensuring the Trust is providing/ commissioning value for money mental health services that meet the demands of service users through proactive and effective contracting and commissioning arrangements.

This is a senior leadership role with autonomy to shape the Trust's contracting, finance and performance portfolio to ensure that our mental health contracts are negotiated and managed effectively. The post holder will be required to influence decisions which will impact on the future strategy of the Trust, supporting the Divisional Director of Operations in order to drive transformation and change.
