The Licensing Operations team seeks to leverage best-in-class industry practices to service the global Mattel Licensing teams, by creating training, making process improvements and implementing systems.

**Job Description**:
**The Opportunity**:
This role reports into the Associate Manager of Licensing Operations. This position is an administrative support role within the Franchise Finance Department at Mattel based in the UK. A typical day would include reviewing and approving licensing deal requests, reading finalized licensing contracts, and making necessary updates to the licensing system, as well as assisting on special projects related to licensing operations. Other activities would include meeting with licensing sales partners to understand blockers, offer training to system users, and better understanding how our processes can support their efficiency and Mattel’s financial goals. This opportunity is best suited for those who are comfortable with data entry, are interested in learning the licensing and entertainment business, take initiative, and want to contribute to making a change to a growing business.

**What Your Impact Will Be**:

- Review and approve Licensing deal requests for compliance with system and industry standards, focusing on clear contract terms that reduce cost
- Read and interpret executed licensing contracts, accurately inputting deal terms into the system to support the financial processing team
- Provide ongoing and timely support to licensing sales teams by troubleshooting issues, identifying, and implementing long-term solutions, and short-term resolutions if necessary
- Educate and train our internal teams on the capabilities of the system and guide them to a solution that meets their needs
- Build standard reports to support business needs
- Participate in Special Projects including, but not limited to:

- System updates that improve efficiency and reporting capabilities
- Updating training materials
- Handle support questions from internal parties

**Education**:

- Bachelor’s degree

**Experience**
- 2-4 years of experience with data entry or related administrative support
- Experience in Media, Consumer Products, or Contract Administration is highly advantageous
- Detail-orientated with an ability to see the big picture
- Ability to collaborate with global teams and work independently
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Proactive mindset with the ability to provide creative solutions to complex problems
- Leader as well as a team player
- Contribute to diverse projects and assignments
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills and proficiency in Microsoft Word, Project, Visio, Outlook, and PowerPoint
