Client coverage specialist, directly responsible for covering clients and originating / structuring ABS/RMBS and secured lending transactions.

Position provides comprehensive exposure to all aspects of structured finance origination.

Duties include all aspects of client coverage and transaction execution for term ABS / RMBS and secured lending transactions, for example:

- Client market / pricing updates
- Analysis across asset classes
- Preparing client pitch books
- Preparing marketing materials
- Cash flow modelling
- Interaction with legal, rating agencies, accountants, investors, conducting due diligence, credit, market risk, enterprise credit

**The Team**:
Associate role in the European Mortgages Origination team which is part of Global Mortgages and is a product within Global Banking & Markets. The European Mortgages Origination team within Global Mortgages is focused on (i) originating and structuring agency securitisations backed by a range of asset classes including residential mortgages and consumer assets, and (ii) providing senior secured financing backed by similar assets
- Global Mortgages is a market leading securitised product platform across ABS and RMBS
- The origination desk is complemented by the EMEA mortgages analytics, sales and trading platforms

**Core Skills**:

- Current direct structuring experience across a broad range of RMBS / ABS asset classes (e.g., mortgages, fleet leasing, rental, equipment leasing, credit cards, consumer loans, dealer floorplan, autos)
- Current direct experience in structuring all aspects of secured lending transactions and RMBS/ABS transactions
- Technical skills: comprehensive understanding of finance / capital markets / credit / reviewing legal docs
- Personality: Shows initiative / energetic / enthusiastic roll up your sleeves type personality
- Good working knowledge of Excel / PPoint
- Excellent at managing timeframes with strong organisational skills
- Competencies & Behaviours required: Ability to multi-task, communicate clearly, collaborate across products. Individual should also be hungry to learn and demonstrate initiative to run with projects
- Strong mathematical and quantitative skills are required
- Market risk knowledge
- Understanding of financing activities within a global investment banking organisation
- Demonstrate ability to identify issues, evaluate large sets of data and generate ideas of the back off this analysis
- Meticulous attention to detail, diligence and conscientiousness
- Strong interpersonal communication skills
- Capable of working effectively both independently and with multiple teams/individuals
- Master/Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent level of experience
