DESCRIPTION
Are you an experienced Commercial Account Handler/Executive seeking an interesting new opportunity in the Staffordshire region? If so, a great new role has come to market for a Commercial Account Executive to join an independent Staffordshire-based brokerage in a desk-based capacity.
Our client has grown substantially over the last few years and are now looking to grow the team even further with this great opportunity.
The Role:
As Commercial Account Executive, you will service a book of business and take on total responsibility for managing the clients' insurance arrangements. You will be both managing and maintaining existing relationships whilst also having a focus on bringing on new business, growing the company's existing book.
Key responsibilities for the Account Executive position include, but are not limited to:
- Taking ownership of a book of existing business, managing clients proactively to ensure retention and growth targets are met.
- Supporting clients throughout, providing an outstanding service and guiding them on the level of covers they require.
- Developing and maintaining good working relationships with all clients.
- Seeking and delivering on opportunities to develop and grow the book of business.
Skills and Experience Required:
- Proven experience working in commercial insurance broking, ideally with client facing experience.
- Be technically competent across multiple classes of commercial insurance products.
- An outgoing personality and excellent communication skills, with the ability to adapt and change to develop strong working relationships with all clients.
- Be highly organised, with great time management and client servicing skills.
- Being in possession of the Cert CII qualification would be advantageous, along with experience of Acturis.
