An exciting opportunity has arisen to recruit an eRostering Implementation Officer to help facilitate the rollout the new eRoster system across the whole of the NCA. The post holder will be part of the Safer Staffing team and will work with all staff groups across the Trust to ensure that the new system functionality is embedded effectively and that departments are able to achieve the benefits set out as part of the programme of work.

We are seeking an enthusiastic person to be part of an exciting programme of work to enable the future roster system. You should be a good team player, able to work on your own initiative and have excellent communication skills. As the programme of work involves the implementation of a new system all relevant training will be provided, however a working knowledge of other workforce systems would be beneficial.

The post is available as fixed term or secondment opportunities may be considered where appropriate (with current manager's authorisation). The job will require travel across each Care Organisation site and will include a mixture of office and home working.

**Main duties of the job**:
The implementation officer will be responsible for rolling out the new eRoster system to all staff groups across the NCA and will configure the system appropriately for the respective departments.

They will support the department managers to engage with their staff and promote the benefits of E Rostering.

There will be a requirement to support the Project Managers to meet the relevant project milestones, ensuring deadlines are adhered to and issues are communicated and escalated effectively.

Facilitate and deliver the relevant training to department managers and staff, as well as create the supporting training documentation.

Report progress of the specific implementations they are responsible for and feedback any issues appropriately.

**Knowledge, Skills, Experience**:
**Essential criteria**:

- Previous experience of working in an administration or, systems environment
- Knowledge and experience of using Workforce Information systems or similar
- Experience of Microsoft Word and intermediate knowledge of Excel.
- Excellent organisational skills and the ability to prioritise workload
- Ability to work both as a member of a team and autonomously
- Able to use initiative and problem solve
- Ability to communicate verbally and in writing in a clear, concise and effective manner to staff and managers at all levels
- Experience of using databases for inputting, reporting and data analysis

**Desirable criteria**:

- Experience and knowledge of an eRostering system and its functionality
- Experience of delivering training to individuals and / or devising delivering awareness sessions to groups
- Experience of managing data quality issues

**Qualifications**:

- Degree level qualification (or equivalent - NVQ Level 3 and proven experience in an office environment)
