We are recruiting for a part-time Night Care Assistant/Waking Nights Support Worker for a Supported Living Service in Ellesmere Port. We support adults with learning disabilities in supported living properties.

**Job Details**:

- Single Work Location at a Supported Living service in Great Sutton.
- 21.5 hours per week over 2 days, 1 in 3 weekends (on average based on a rolling rota).
- Full training provided.
- 5.6 weeks paid annual leave.
- Day hours also available as overtime.
- £10.50 per hour.

You will support our clients while they sleep, by carrying out essential checks throughout the night and monitoring any activity which may need your assistance. There will also be another member of staff on a sleep shift should you need additional support.

Your presence is vital in maintaining the health, safety and well-being of those you support. Without you, they would not be able to live an independent and enriched life so you get to feel great about the care you provide and go home knowing that you have made a difference to someone’s life.

**Further details**:

- We Support offers PERMANENT CONTRACTS.
- Fixed rolling shift pattern assigned to you so that you know your regular hours of work on an ongoing basis.
- You will only work 2 days per week.
- You are guaranteed to have 2 weekends off in 3.
- There is lots of opportunity to pick up extra shifts but there is no obligation to do so, as we value a healthy work-life balance. You will not be allocated extra shifts if you do not want them.
- You will have access to lots of support from great managers and the opportunity to complete an NVQ.
- Progression opportunities do become available and are open to all existing employees prior to external recruitment.
- You will generally work in the same house on each shift. There is generally no traveling between services once you start work, and you will build strong and meaningful relationships with the people you support and your colleagues.
- The majority of the people we support have their own Motability Vehicles so for those of you who drive there is normally no need to use your own car.
