Your Challenge

We have an exciting opportunity for a Pre
- Commissioning Service Team Leader to join our team at Swarco Smart Charging in Hemel Hempstead.

The Pre
- Commissioning Service Team Leader supports the Head of Service with the following duties:

- Complete H&S audits and technical assessments.
- Day-to-day management of the Pre-Comm team, including daily liaison with dispatcher to monitor the work Dispatch Console
- Conduct 1 to 1 Meetings with the team.
- Ensure the Engineers have the proper tools and stock to enable them to carry out their daily tasks.
- Maximise the productivity of the Pre-Comm Service Team with weekly reports sent to the Head of Service.
- Manage the holidays, sickness, discipline, morale and welfare of the service team under your control. Escalate performance issues to the HOS as soon as they occur.
- Provide cover for absence or holidays within the Pre-Comm team when required.
- Identify individual training requirements and liaise with Training Manager to organize training courses. (Once a quarter minimum but ad hoc on individual engineer).
- Manage the stock required for failures during Pre-Comm
- Support sales and projects team with queries when requested.
- Complete audits of Pre-Commissioned units.
- Ensure their own product training and knowledge is in date.
- Organise the Calibration Compliance of each of their Team Members
- annually.
- Carry out a weekly ToolBox Talk via Skype/ Teams.
- Complete Yearly reviews with engineer and review for following year with assistance of HOS
- To be an integral part of recruitment in the designated area they supervise. Conducting of interviews with HOS when the need arises.
- To Cover Management of the Warehouse Team when Warehouse Manager is on Leave

- Have gained previous experience in a similar role
- Be IT literate
- Be organised and detail oriented
- Work well with customers, peers and management
- Be able to manage small projects and meet deadlines
- Have flexibility to perform different tasks based on the day-to-day business needs
- Understand H&S practices
- Right to work in the UK
