**About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Warehouse Operative to join our team at Meridian Business Support. As a Warehouse Operative, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse, working closely with our team to pick, pack, and dispatch orders to customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Picking and Packing: Use handheld scanners to pick orders and pack items ready for dispatch to customers.
  • Inventory Management: Sort returned product from stores and separate them by I.D. codes.
  • Performance Driven Environment: Work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines, ensuring all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Manual Handling and Standing: Perform manual handling tasks and stand for long periods of time, with regular breaks to maintain productivity and safety.

Requirements:

  • Warehouse Experience: Previous experience in a warehouse environment is ideal, but not essential as full training will be provided.
  • Attention to Detail: Excellent attention to detail is required to ensure accurate picking and packing of orders.
  • Teamwork: Ability to work effectively in a team environment, communicating with colleagues to achieve common goals.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to stand for long periods of time and perform manual handling tasks.
