**Financial Controller**

Reed Finance are currently working with a great client in the Sutton area who require an experienced **Financial Controller** to join their team. Our client sits within the IT industry. You will join a team of highly experienced professionals providing financial expertise, reporting and advice to the companies stakeholders.
**Main Responsibilities/ Job Content**
- Liaise with the Senior Management Team and the Directors to provide financial information
- Work with counterparts in the company to ensure reporting targets are met as well as to learn and grow with the company
- Taking responsibility of the monthly management accounts and ensuring timely close off
- Manage the preparation of deadline-driven reporting, including managing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting processes to management.
- Making sure balance sheet accounts are fully reconciled at a minimum each month, within 30 days following the period close
- Management of intercompany cross charges
- Liaison with our bankers
- Approval of supplier payment through the banking system
- Liaising with auditors and tax advisors
- Update and manage the bi-weekly and quarterly cash forecasts, budgets and cashflow projections
- Offer professional judgement on financial matters and advising on ways of improving business performance
- Help develop accounting procedures and build confidence in the finance team and its customers
- Assist in development of new reporting systems, including implementation of a global corporate reporting tool to manage actuals, budgets and forecasts
- Provide high level overview and support on client submissions on commercial proposals and financial risk & returns
- Support in commercial decision making to drive improved profit performance and returns
- Actively contribute to process improvement, simplification and cross-skilling across the business
**Requirements**:
- ACCA or CIMA qualified
- Relevant experience
- 5 years of experience in a similar role
