Our client is looking for an experienced Administrator with excellent IT skills to join their team. The position is located in Newton Aycliffe, and reports to the Office Manager.

**Duties and responsibilities**:

- First point of contact with customers and suppliers
- Managing a reception inbox
- Processing sales orders and invoices
- Processing supplier invoices
- Booking and organising company travel for staff and visitors
- Ordering non-essential goods and services
- Liaising with customers proactively on progression of orders
- Handling all ad-hoc customers’ requests
- Regular contact with other departments within organisation
- Working closely with the production and administration team to meet customer requirements
- Reviewing and updating current customer trade agreements
- Involvement in site QHSE projects
- Covering procurement; ordering raw materials, PPE etc

**Experience Required**:

- Previous experience in an Administration role
- Possess strong analytical, communication and problem-solving skills
- Be an integral part of the site team and buy in to their site values
- Flexibility to cover all roles within the administration team
- Proactive, open and transparent, result oriented and structured way of working
- To be able to work with ERP systems and be proficient in MS Office
- Very good written and verbal communications skills
- Excellent computer skills and attention to detail

Hours of work will be Monday to Friday, 8.30am - 4.30pm.
