Roofing Supervisor

Paragon Resource Solutions are currently recruiting on behalf of their client for an experienced Roofing Supervisor to join their team on a permanent basis.

Salary - £35,000- £40,000

**Main Duties and responsibilities**
- Supervise Operatives and Workmanship across Roofing Work streams. Resolve all operative/office queries on assigned contracts. Be responsible for identifying resourcing and material needs to ensure timely project and programme delivery within agreed commercial parameters and KPIs.
- Ensure Customer and Client excellence and compliance with Health and Safety, Quality and Environment systems / procedures / legislation.

Scope & Responsibilities of the Role
- Complete Operative site inductions
- Supervise/ manage teams of operatives on site
- Assess and monitor operatives conduct, productivity and performance
- Regularly review and assess site Health, Safety and Environmental conditions
- Ensure H&S standards and procedures are followed, weekly H&S inspections & returns
- Review and record daily works allocations and resource planning
- Assessing incoming works for time, resource and material needs ensuring we can commit to our environmental, health, safety and quality standards
- Control and undertake quality of workmanship inspections and sign offs at key stages of completion.

Maintain records of quality inspections
- Ensure quality is maintained on site
- Innovate and encourage best practice, demonstrating a commitment to continual improvement
- Complete all paperwork including materials and labour returns, timesheet approvals, etc.
- Be responsible for environmental, H&S and quality aspects of work on site in line with our ISO 9001, 14001 and 45001 management system
- Ensure timely handover of completed properties
- Liaise with Client representatives as required over day to day issues
- Participate in joint handovers/ audits
- Interview/ recruit new trades/ operative personnel as required utilising training centre where/if appropriate
- Support trainees/ apprentices development and growth
- Monitoring and implementing best working practices and quality controls to improve KPI's
- Assist where required in absence of other Supervisors/ Site Manager/ Project Manager

**Education/Qualifications**

Full driving license BTEC HNC/D in Building/Construction Studies

Educated to GCSE level or equivalent Site Supervisor Safety Training Scheme qualified

Building Trade/ Previous Supervisory/ Scaffolding Awareness

Construction Skills Certification Scheme Working at Height

card holder (CSCS) Lone Working

First Aid at Work

Manual Handling training Computer Literate
