Forklift Driver/warehouse Operative

**Vibe Recruit** are currently recruiting for a **Forklift Operator/Warehouse Operative **to work for UK's leading designer & manufacturer of performance metal door systems who are based in the Rumney area of Cardiff.

**Responsibilities**:

- To control the receipt, storage, and dispatch of raw materials, components, and finished doors, flashings and ancillaries.
- Ensuring that the product is delivered on time in full
- The product quality exceeds customers’ expectations; and costs are controlled within budget.
- Safe unpacking and unloading of materials and consumables, ensuring materials are clearly identified, and stored safely and securely in the appropriate place.
- Confirm that goods received are in good condition, match the supplier’s documentation, and what was expected.
- Notify the Procurement Officer of any discrepancies promptly
- Carry out cycle counts regularly including stock checks on steel and high-volume items on a perpetual basis.
- Participate in all stock counts as requested.

**Working Hours**:Monday to Thursday 6:00am - 4:00pm
**4 Day Working Week Every Week**

**Salary**:£11.37 per hour, rising to £11.76 per following a successful probation period

**Skills & Knowledge**:

- Fully computer literate
- Excellent communication and listening skills
- Attention to detail and observation
- Team player
- Full FLT License is essential - Counterbalance

This is role is available on a **temporary to** **permanent contract **and would be perfect opportunity for an enthusiastic and dynamic person to thrive, working within a successful and vibrant team.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Temporary contract, Temp to perm

**Salary**: £11.37-£11.76 per hour
