**Platform Resourcing** are currently working with a leading manufacturing company who are looking to expand their team by taking on a **Forklift and Warehouse Operative **in Cardiff on a split Afternoon and night shift pattern.

**Salary**:

- **Starting rate: £11.87p/h increasing to £12.54 after successful completion of probation**:

- **Additional 30% shift allowance on night shifts**

**Hours**:

- **Week 1: Monday to Friday 2.00pm
- 10.00pm**:

- **Week 2: Monday to Friday 10.00pm - 6.00am**

**Forklift and Warehouse Operative Benefits**:

**Forklift and Warehouse Operative Duties and Responsibilities**
- Load product in a prompt manner, communicating relevant information to the Dispatch Team leader.
- Liaise with Dispatch Team Leader to organise workload and priorities
- Liaise with Production Team Leaders to resolve any issues that may arise in relation to unsatisfactory product
- Load vehicles as required, ensuring “zero” loading / delivery damage
- Preparation of all finished goods in conjunction with the companies packaging procedures. Ensuring stock levels are above minimum quantities.
- Communicate with haulers in relation to deliveries
- Ensure load photos are taken of all products leaving site.
- Ensure smooth running of deliveries, collection, customer returns, customer collections, adhering to all relevant procedures flagging issues to the Dispatch Team leader
- Make recommendations to improve on performance / procedures.
- Yard management is key. Allocating finished goods in their correct location and updating the system accurately in a timely manner.
- Ensuring the yard is always clear of debris.

**Forklift and Warehouse Operative Essential Experience/Qualifications**
- Experience within a manufacturing or engineering dispatch role
- RTITB Forklift licence - Combi lift license
- Understanding of Dispatch processes
- Manufacturing knowledge and experience
- A willingness to be flexible regarding working hours
