**The Company**
- A leading manufacturer of packaging, supplying primarily the industrial, food and medical sectors. Who are now looking for an HR Advisor to join their team paying £30,000 - £35,000pa depending on experience.

**Job Title**:

- HR Advisor

**Purpose of the HR Advisor Role**:

- he role will provide a full HR support function to the manufacturing site. Providing administrative and hands on advisory capacity to management and employees in all aspects of Human Resources and to support the HR Manager in ongoing people activities.

**Role Responsibilities of the HR Advisor**:

- Point of contact for all queries into the HR Department via telephone, e mails, and other correspondence in an efficient and professional manner, ensuring that in the first instance correct guidance is given or referred to the correct member of the team.Responsibility should be taken to ensure all queries are followed up appropriately.
- Recruitment, induction, on boarding administration for all staff (including site senior management) in accordance with agreed site procedures. Agreeing job role and person specifications, supporting recruiting Manager at interviews, undertaking appropriateassessments.
- Maintain accurate records and prepare written communications to obtain information and respond to enquiries.
- Develop, in conjunction with the HR Manager, manpower planning strategy for the business and manage accordingly
- Ensure site conformance to statutory employment responsibilities, contracts, procedures, Right to Work etc
- Provision of timely and accurate management information on areas such as absence levels, employee turnover, salary levels and month end
- To be a key contact in relationships with 3rd party providers including recruitment agencies etc
- Manage disciplinary, grievance and all other people processes in conjunction with members of the management team
- Management of employee welfare provision including occupational health, physiotherapy, and counselling services
- Liaison with employee benefits providers (pension, healthcare, company vehicles etc,)
- To coach, motivate, support, develop and train Human Resources to the wider team to ensure that they meet the requirements of the business
- Contribute as member of the wider HR team in developing the site strategy in line with company Flexibles annual plans
- To attend Site Meetings and ensure action points are progressed in accordance with the priorities.
- To monitor and progress all Employers Liability claims both new and existing to ensure swift and effective outcome for the Company
- To drive engagement initiatives at site to increase level of employee engagement and satisfaction.
- To support other members of the team in payroll and training as required
- To ensure that the HR System (Success Factors) is kept up to date in relation to starters, leavers, change of role / pay etc and that payroll are updated in relation to any changes

**Previous Experience & Skills**:

- Excellent communicator (written and verbal)
- Great attention to detail
- Excellent IT skills including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Innovative thinker
- Organised and calm under pressure.
- Friendly, approachable, and flexible - a team player
- Professional and pragmatic in approach
- Proactive, positive, enthusiastic - demonstrates "can do" attitude
- Leads by example.
- Travel may be required therefore current, clean driving licence an advantage.
- Experience of working with an HR and T and A system such as Success Factors, Mitre Finch etc is desirable

**Salary**:

- £30,000 - £35,000pa depending upon experience
- Hours will be 37.5 hours per week.
