- Responsibilities
- Develop and nurture customer relationships in a manner that enhances the company’s reputation and fosters a position of leadership
- Build and lead a high-performing, continuously improving sales and customer services team
- Develop and deliver exceptional service
- Continuously develop sales skills and product knowledge of self and direct reports
- Develop and execute sales initiatives and plans to grow sales and/or promote relevant products and services
- Drive customer and market information into the business to enhance the organization’s understanding and commitment to market leadership
- Strategize with the marketing function to enhance the brand and create interest in ODL products and services
- Work collaboratively across functions with a high degree of accountability to build and foster a culture of trust
- Develop and implement profitable, competitive, equitable pricing programs
- Meet or exceed sales budgets
- Optimize investment and costs to maximize returns
- Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business or related field, MBA a plus
- Commanding knowledge of the door and window industry is highly desirable
- Demonstrated ability to grow sales with a proven track record of sales growth
- Demonstrated ability to develop and execute strategic sales plans
- Demonstrated ability to develop and lead teams
- Strong business and financial acumen
- Experience in developing and executing complex selling proposals that may have long selling cycles
- Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills
- Strong computer skills including knowledge of ERP systems and MS Office suite
- Effective communication and collaboration skills with stakeholders
- Solutions driven with a can-do attitude
- Position may require international travel
Delivers sales objectives. Hires, coaches, and develops a high-performing sales and customer services team, including performance management and succession planning. Actively contributes to formal business planning and annual budget processes. Demonstrates a high degree of accountability and champions trusting relationships with all stakeholders.
