**Domestic Assistant**
**37.5 hours per week, shifts 7am-3pm, including alternate weekends**
This is a fantastic opportunity to join our hardworking team at The Paddocks Care Home in Swaffham. Our team really do care about our residents and are dedicated and warm-hearted. Previous experience isn’t necessary as full training is given, but a caring, compassionate and warm approach is essential.
Our domestic team provides a high quality domestic and laundry service to the home, working to the best of their ability at all times ensuring the safe, clean and efficient running of the home and the creation of a happy, calm and safe environment.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Making of beds and cleaning of resident rooms, communal areas, and toilets to a high standard.
- Ensure that residents clothing is collected and taking to the laundry and then returned and placed away within the resident’s rooms.
- To be aware of Health & Safety and COSHH policies and procedures.
- To clean sanitary and other equipment, in line with infection control policies.
- Observe the welfare of the resident’s ensuring privacy and dignity is respected at all times.
