**Part-time Purchase Ledger Clerk - Three Legged Cross/Wimborne - £20,000-£21,000 pro-rata**
Our client based in Three Legged Cross is a manufacturer of permanent modular construction looking for a part-time Purchase Ledger Clerk to join their finance team.
Supporting the Financial Controller, you will provide a timely accounting service for all payments of invoices through the purchase ledger.
**Duties and Responsibilities**:
- Matching, checking and coding invoices
- Processing invoices onto Sage accounts system
- Processing cheques and BACS payment runs for suppliers and sub-contractors
- Filing Invoices & statements
- Setting up new supplier accounts and maintaining existing account details
- Reconciliation of Supplier statements
- Being the first point of contact for all purchase ledger enquiries both sub-contract and supplier
- Maintaining strong relationships with suppliers
- Produce purchase invoice query reports
- Liaise with Procurement to resolve any purchase invoice issues
- Identify and improve any internal purchase ledger control issues
- Ad-hoc purchase ledger projects
**Skills and Attributes**:
- An ability to build relationships with external suppliers is a must
- Experience in SAGE 2000 & 1000 would be desirable but not essential
- A good working knowledge of Excel & Word would be essential
- High attention to detail
- Ability to work in a team environment
4 days per week - Monday - Thursday - Minimum of 20 hours
**Job Type**: Part-time
Part-time hours: 20 per week
**Salary**: £20,000.00-£21,000.00 per year
