Richmond is one of the UK’s largest furniture manufacturers, supplying nationally to house builders, social housing, merchants, retail showrooms, and city centre projects.

We have an opportunity for a kitchen design sales person to join our team of sales staff in our Hadfield Glossop Showroom (a rapidly growing retail sales environment).

Located on the edge of the High Peak in Derbyshire its a beautiful village location to work in with excellent transport links nearby (including a direct train to Manchester).
- **In this role you will**:_
- Meet and greet customers in the showroom, introduce them to product and work with them to understand their kitchen aspirations.
- On occasion, site visits maybe required to take measures, and resolve queries.
- Design, plan, price kitchens for customers using the latest products, and working with third party providers for stone and appliances.
- Following a sale, take payments, and provide an accurate and concise order to the customer service department to process the sales order.
- Communicating with various internal points of contact to provide the best service to customers.
- **To be considered for the position, you will need**:_
- A sales background with experience in the kitchen trade/ retail sector is desirable but not essential.
- You will have a positive outlook; be proactive; self-driven and results orientated
- Be able to work to deadlines and have the commitment to see a job through to the end
- Be confident and comfortable in taking calls from the public and handling these in a professional manner; confident, presentable and business like in face to face contact with retail and trade customers
- Be sufficiently mobile and flexible to travel. A requirement of this role is to conduct home visits to customers to measure up for kitchen requirements. **Drivers licence and transport is essential**:

- Proficient IT skills: Outlook, Microsoft office suite (word, excel, etc).
