**Programme Governance Officer** to work on our
**CMO **contract in
**either Slough or Romford**.
As the **Programme Governance Officer** you will be a key part of our Programme team who are responsible for the creating and managing the CMO’s annual programme of gas mains replacement, reinforcement, and client driven works**.**

Morrison Energy Services are working in partnership with Cadent Gas on a5-year contract to deliver the Network Mains Replacement Programme and other related investment projects in North London.

**As the Programme Governance Officer** **your responsibilities will include**:

- Control the receipt of project information using planning tools & systems
- Maintain data integrity at all times in planning tools and systems, in-line with programme governance process
- Reconcile, import and maintain designed work in core CMO systems on a regular basis
- Schedule, monitor and maintain an annual programme of works
- Ensure operational planning information is available pro-actively to support accurate scheduling
- Generate performance measures and information to help improve the governance of the programme
- Work with the Programme Manager and Operations Manager to analyse performance trends and implement improvements
- Prepare regular programmes of work for each Highway Authority/Stakeholder
- Imbed and attend monthly programme reviews & reconciliation meetings with Local Delivery Partners, in which the programme and works order position will be agreed
- Liaise with internal stakeholders to ensure programme information is visible and shared, be the initial point of contact for programme queries
- Liaise with internal stakeholders ensuring key work types are included in the programme of works
- Gather information to support reasoning for key (critical) programme ‘outs’
- Provide necessary information to support critical works meetings

***Skills & Knowledge Requirements**
- Experience in programme management and governance
- Able to demonstrate experience of programme/project planning tools and techniques
- Good organisational skills
- Thorough knowledge of Microsoft Project & experience of Microsoft Power BI is desirable
- Intermediate Microsoft Excel skill required
- Effective communication skills are required and the ability to interface with internal and external stakeholders
- Excellent time management skills
- Ability to work efficiently alone and as part of a team
- Meticulous approach to ensuring accuracy of data
- Full UK Driving Licence and willingness to travel
