Customs Clearance Coordinators

We're working with this market leader in logistics to recruit on a specialised team of experienced customs clearance co-ordinators. With clear instruction, guidance and support - your exposure to customs entries via any means (air sea or road) will be utilisedin a vibrant environment.
Your primary focus will be customs clearances for road movements, ensuring a quality customs clearance service is provided to the business and its network Charter departments using a variety of import and export clearance methods.
You'll be preparing customs documentation so that commodities can enter or exit European borders road; keeping on top of all legal requirements in line with HMRC & calculating all relevant Duty and VAT payments. You will be processing T-Docs, EUR1s, Certificatesof Origin, CVED licenses, etc.; along with liaising with a range of customs officials, clients and other operators. Familiarity with the CHIEF software is desirable.
Success is measured through learning and there is the provision to continue developing and improving your skills and abilities through the internal training provision. This team know that for their team to be the best they must support their development atall stages.
