Finance Planner

As part of your key responsibilities you’ll:

- Prepare and distribute project cost trackers, highlighting and investigating variances to plan
- Attend and participate in regular project meetings, presenting information where necessary
- Support the project team with costing validation along with monitoring and understanding the implications of scope creep
- Produce monthly and weekly reports including reporting packs for both internal and external stakeholders
- Link operational changes and financial implications
- Prepare monthly invoicing for clients
- Submit as required to Central Finance monthly flash & cash flow forecasts
- Review (and report) Magna Park site costs, supporting the onsite GM/Facilities team as required
- Support the site’s forecast/budget process

**About You**
- Strong Excel skills are essential, as well as the ability to manipulate data and have a good understanding of systems (SAP preferably)
- A good team player who is also able to work independently and on own initiative
- Experience of project cost tracking (highly desirable)
- Attention to detail and accuracy of work is essential
- Ability to appropriately challenge stakeholders
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships at all levels of the operation
- Experience of communicating financial data to non-financial functions internally and externally, including the creation, collation and presentation of financial information
- Self-motivated with a “can do” attitude
- Quick learner & adaptable with new or exceptional situations
- Ability to work under pressure to tight deadlines and in a fast paced continually changing environment
- Experience of working in a commercial finance role (desirable)
