**Job Background**

Bryson exists to make the greatest difference to the greatest need. The Maximise Employment Navigator will engage:

- 1,200 hardest to reach economically inactive people in localities of multiple deprivation across Northern Ireland to deliver in community-based settings:

- 9,600 tailored, intensive, wrap-around, one-to-one support sessions up to 1hr long (i.e., average of 8 per beneficiary) including life and basic skills sessions i.e., digital, English, maths, ESOL
- 5,400 “check-ins” following employment. This will enable beneficiaries to gain and sustain employment and increase their skills levels to maximise their potential.
- 300 participants supported with Multiply interventions to boost numeracy skills
- which will be the focus of this role.

**Key Tasks and responsibilities**
- Our Multiply Tutors will tailor delivery to the individual need and circumstances of the participant and can be in-person, online or a blended approach. In-person training will take place in community settings local to the participant (familiar/safe), typically in small groups, or on a one-to-one basis if preferred.
- To develop and demonstrate a thorough knowledge of the guidelines of training programmes designed to increase the numeracy of learners
- To assess individual training needs in relation to the required level of numeracy Training
- To agree and compile Assessment Plans which demonstrate how Multiply will be delivered and assessed at key stages
- To develop a comprehensive range of training material that meets the needs of Multiply participants including: increased adult numeracy by supporting learners to improve their understanding and use of maths in their daily lives at home and at work, as well as relevant qualifications.

**Essential Criteria**:

- Educated to 5 GCSE’s Grade C or above (or equivalent) including English and Maths
- A minimum of a Level 3 qualification/ Degree in Numeracy/ Essential skills or equivalent
- A minimum of one year previous experience delivering Numeracy training
- Hold a full driving licence and access to transport for work purposes as and when required.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Full-time, Fixed term contract

Part-time hours: 35 per week

**Salary**: £27,403.00 per year
