**Description**

Main Accountabilities - Responsibilities, Tasks & Interactions:

- Responsible for the technical and administrative maintenance and calibration of all UKAS lab and field
equipment.
- Complete quality plans, test schedule and technical reports.
- Driving profitable delivery of calibration offerings of M&A service (laboratory and field) to resolve customer
issues.
- Participate in external and internal audits within the customer and company facilities, in accordance with
ISO17025, and report audits and findings to the lab Manager in line with the programme requirements.
- To complete all work within budget, meet target date and ensure proper control and dissemination of
information to the customer.
- Liaise with internal and external customer quality departments to ensure UKAS and customer approvals and
requirements are adhered to and any non-conformances are reported and closed out.
- Identify magnitude of error sources contributing to uncertainty of measurement of results to determine
reliability of measurement process in quantitative terms.
- Develops and evaluates calibration systems for temperature, pressure and electrical signals with the aim of
minimising errors and improving measurement capabilities.
- Responsible for delivery of technical support to end user customers and internal service and sales staff across
the M&A Stonehouse PMU product portfolio.
- Logging of support calls and resolutions onto a common database.
- Drive revenue generation through offering of service products (calibrations, training, spares, field service visits,
etc.) to resolve customer issues.
- To carry out occasional visits in UK to customer sites to resolve issues.
- Assisting in training of customers and internal staff.
- Advising customers on spare part numbers, pricing and availability.
- Ensure own ethical behaviour in line with code of conduct, thereby confirming legal compliance for customers.
- Awareness of and commitment to Health & Safety.
- Customer empathy, responsive to customer requests, an understanding of markets and customers' expectations.

**Profile**

Essential
- HND or Degree in technical/engineering discipline.
- Strong communication skills.
- Demonstrate excellent customer focus and networking skills.
- Proven technical and organisational skills.
- Logical approach and extensive experience with Microsoft Office suite.
Desirable
- Understanding of ISO17025.
- Proven calibration experience.
- Ability to read, understand and create uncertainty budgets using measurement of uncertainty.
- Reliable and self-motivated with strong commitment to quality and customer service
- Delivering rapid resolution to customer enquiries.
- Enhance collaborative working relationships with factory and service staff.
- Technical understanding of instrumentation device technologies and product range.
- Interest in digital solutions to enhance customer support experience.
