Job purpose:
This role provides day to day handling of all new business enquiries. The main objective being to ensure the customer receives the best product for their needs and all other business opportunities are maximised.
Insurance Consultant’s competencies and targets vary depending on product knowledge and capabilities. Each advisor will be provided a training and development plan to assist in their progression through levels 1-4.
Key Responsibilities:
- To proactively answer incoming calls and online enquiries at all times maximising conversion
enquiries.
- To ensure that customer records are kept up to date with accurate notes following all customer
contact
- To maximise every opportunity for further business through rapport building and exceeding
customer expectations
- To ensure all new business is written compliantly
- To achieve new business target set through effective task management.
- To recognise and mitigate risk
- To understand all protocols and ensure that are followed correctly
- To proactively manage self-development and learning
**Key Performance Indicators**:
- To achieve new business target after claw back
- To achieve conversion target of >40%
- To achieve home sales target of >9
- To achieve call audit score of >95%
- To achieve a chase process score of >11
- To achieve >98% attendance and punctuality on an ongoing basis
- No more than 3 Agent Error Risk Investigations

- Understanding and knowledge of ‘Treating Customers Fairly’ and how this is applied throughout everyday tasks to ensure our customer’s best interests are met.
- Thorough understanding of insurance market including key competitors
