Fnol Claims Supervisor

Collingwood Business Solutions are looking to recruit a permanent FNOL Claims Supervisor to be based in their office at the Royal Quays, North Shields working Monday to Friday 9.00am to 5pm.
The role of the FNOL team is to receive incoming calls, process new motor claims, deal with claims correspondence and transfer more complex calls to back-office file handlers.
You will support, develop and manage the FNOL team whilst ensuring critical KPIs are met each day.
You will report into the Claims Manager and receive tasks to manage from other areas of the claims department.
Duties will include:
- To assign tasks to the team and ensure they are completed in a timely manner
- Motivate and engage to drive productivity
- Encouraging consistent performance
- Perform file and telephone audits
- Manage the phone lines
- Support customers who may be complaining
- Be a point of contact for team referrals
- Perform monthly 1-2-1s with team members
- Complete and document half year and yearly appraisals
- Recruit and train new members of staff
- Follow company processes for dealing with underperformance and absences
- Assisting the Claims Manager with ad hoc tasks
