As part of the continued investment in our ambitious growth strategy, we are excited to be recruiting for a Supply Chain Support position to join our wider Supply Chain Support Team.

As one of the UK’s largest steel stockholders, we are recognised as experts by our diverse customer base in a wide range of industries including Automotive, Mining, Off-Highway, Power Generation, Construction, Defence and Industrial engineering sectors.

**The main tasks of the role will include**:

- Enter purchase orders on ERP system
- Verify supplier order acknowledgments against Purchase order requirements
- Expedite sales orders with internal department as part of proactive order book management
- Update Purchase orders based on order status updates from supplier
- Update Purchase order in line with monthly price surcharges adjustments
- Raising enquiries to suppliers & subcontractors
- Arranging loads from suppliers and docks
- Liaising with freight forwards
- Booking in material and allocating stock to sales orders
- Raising despatch notes and invoices
- Test certification creation, entry and queries handling
- Stock transfers, movement and cleansing
- Any other tasks as necessary
- Business Admin NVQ level 2 or equivalent
- Previous experience in an administration role
- GCSE C or above in English & Maths or equivalent.

**Required Knowledge and Skills include**:

- PC Literate
- MS Office - Intermediate level
- Numerate and Literate
- Attention to detail
- Good general knowledge of the office based processes
- Clear communication
