Leap Lessons is a thriving private music-school based in Prehen, Derry.

Our lessons go beyond simply teaching children and adults how to play an instrument - we build lasting relationships with our students by giving them a personalised experience.

Our 3 aims are to:

- Unite our students in a musical tribe.
- Accelerate our students’ creative journey.
- Make sure that our lessons put fun & freedom first.

**ROLE OVERVIEW**

Rate of pay:
£15/hour

30 hours per week

Role type:
Freelance, Hybrid

Hours:
Mornings/early afternoons

**WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?**

You will be in direct communication with our clients to;
- Timetable student lessons.
- Handle social media.
- Handle changes in client availability.
- Make sure that our financial records are accurate each week.

Organisational and People-Skills:
We want someone who can deal with the practicalities of scheduling and payment for our lesson types, while helping each client to feel special through face-to-face and written communication.

Initiative:
We want to work with someone who can proactively help create a more efficient client relationship for both our students and our music-teachers.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**

Acting as the first point of contact for prospective, new and existing clients.

Scheduling music lessons using the company’s spreadsheet system.

Preparing weekly financial records for the various types of music-lessons we offer.

Sending reminders to clients when fees are owed.

Helping to build our profile through social media.

**WHAT SKILLS ARE NEEDED?**
- Essential:_

Confidence in coordinating people through text and phone calls.

Excellent written and spoken communication skills.

Experience in using spreadsheets.

Experience in working with the public.

Excellent people skills, with an ability to build rapport with children, parents and adult students.
- Desirable:_

Experience in marketing through social media.

Experience in organising timetables in an educational or non-educational setting.

An interest in music and/or the creative-arts, but there is no requirement to be able to play a musical instrument.
