Due to expediential growth in our business, we have an exciting opportunity and are recruiting for a **National Credit Controller** who has a can-do attitude to join and lead a team of Regional Credit Controllers from our Blackburn office.

**Job Purpose**

As a **National Credit Controller,** you will lead a team of Regional Credit Controllers whlst maintaining the ledger for National Accounts. You will be working with a small team, reducing debtor days and ensuring payments are received within agreed terms across the accounts.

**Responsibilities**:

- High value key accounts Circa £5 million
- Run reports from our ERP, SAP B1
- Work closely with Senior Leadership Team, including sharing and frequently updating aged debt reports
- Allocating cash receipts and cheques
- Ensuring up to date and transparent information for the relevant managers and directors
- Work closely with the Invoicing team
- Chase queries and follow up where required
- Liaising with the Accounting team at Head Office
- Manage the Dunning Process on a weekly basis
- Weekly review and report on collection progress across all regions
- Implementation of escalation processes, both internally and externally
- Effectively manage a team of Credit Controllers, including 1-2-1 mentorship, delegation of tasks and regularly reviewing each ledger with the regional credit controller setting targets to reduce debtor days
- Assisting Head of Finance Operations with ad hoc project work as required
- Manage the integration of tasks related to Credit Control of new acquisitions

**Qualifications and Skills**:

- Previous experience in a Credit Control position is essential
- Previous experience of working alongside various sections of Finance
- Experience of managing a team is essential
- Experience with MS Excel, including familiarity with pivot tables, lookups, etc. is desirable
- Experience with financial systems - experience with SAP B1 would be an advantage
- Excellent communication skills both verbally and written
- Flexible, enthusiastic and can do attitude

**Nurture Landscapes** specialises in grounds maintenance, winter gritting and interior and exterior plant display services, mainly to the corporate sector.

**Gavin Jones** provide landscape construction services to a wide variety of clients across the UK, working alongside landscape architects, designers and main contractors. They also provide grounds maintenance services to military sites and public open spaces and are proud holders of the Royal Warrant to Her Majesty The Queen.

**Rokill** provide pest control services to both commercial and domestic customers as well as the public sector. They hold the Royal Warrant to Her Majesty The Queen and are of the UK’s leading pest control companies.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £29,000.00-£32,000.00 per year
