Due to expediential growth in our business, we have an exciting opportunity and are recruiting for a **Credit Control Assistant **to work with the **Credit Control Team** based in our Rishton office chasing debt from customers of Rokill within the Nurture Group.

Nurture provides landscape maintenance teams at some of the UK's most prestigious commercial centres as well as some of the most iconic public spaces. Since starting in 2008 we now turnover in excess of £80 million and have over 1400 employees who are building their careers with us. We strive to maintain landscapes to complement both their environment and the character of each venue.

**Job Purpose**

**Responsibilities**:

- Manage own aged debt ledger
- Chase customers daily
- Run reports from our ERP, Access Dimensions
- Posting receipts, allocating payments
- Reconciling accounts
- Query resolution
- Work closely with managers and directors, including sharing and frequently updating aged debt reports
- Work closely with the Invoicing team to ensure queries are rectified in a timely manner
- Ensuring up to date and transparent information for the relevant managers and directors
- Assisting with reports for Management, as and when required
- Assisting Head of Finance Operations with ad hoc project work as required
- Liaising with the Accounting team at Head Office
- Assisting with the integration of tasks related to Credit Control of new acquisitions.

**Skills and experiences**:

- Previous experience in a Credit Control position is essential.
- Previous experience of working alongside various sections and teams in Finance.
- Experience of working well as part of a team.
- Experience with MS Excel, including familiarity with pivot tables, lookups etc is desirable.
- Experience with financial systems, access dimensions desirable.
- Excellent communication skills both verbally and written.
- Flexible, enthusiastic and can-do attitude.

**Salary**: £23,000.00-£27,000.00 per year
