**Role**:Residential Support Worker

**Location**: West Midlands/East Midlands/ Multi-location within these areas

**Salary**: £26,000 - £28,000 dependent on experience plus bonuses and sleep in pay. OTE up to £30,000+

**WHAT WILL I DO AS A RESIDENTIAL SUPPORT WORKER?**

The real question is what don’t you do? Imagine what would you be expected to do as a parent, it’s the everyday things to sometime quite big things. Somethings are summarised below:

- Making sure they’re up on time for school, have a good breakfast inside them in order to engage in the education system positively
- Getting their evening meals ready and planning things for them to do when they get home
- Helping them work through their homework (there’s always google)
- Encouraging them to get involved in activities or to just relax and feel at home as part of developing their physical and mental health and wellbeing, from social and leisure activities and helping with hobbies such as football, netball, musical instruments or playing video games
- Keeping up to date with paperwork and reporting in order for the home to run effectively and compliantly

**Bespoke systems** - Spend more time working directly with children rather than duplicating reports with our bespoke, time-saving incident reporting system. In depth **Induction Programme** - All new starters complete a thorough induction programme which involves face to face and online training, shadowing and 1-2-1 learning sessions to best prepare them for the new role. **Health and Wellbeing Programme - Employee Assistance Programme**. Free and available to all staff 24/7/365.
