Motorcraft Adventure Developments is the UK’s foremost specialist in building overland Vehicles and we are embarking on an exciting phase of expansion and to support this growth we are on the lookout for a talented customer service coordinator to join the team at our new state-of-the-art facility in Doncaster.

What you will be doing

Working alongside our sales and operations team, becoming the main point of contact for our external customers keeping them updated on their projects

How you will do it

Building relationships with our external customers keeping them updated on their projects progress.

Being the linchpin between sales and operations, ensuring each project has upto date information.

Resolve customer disputes/ issues regarding shortages, damages and late deliveries

Understanding each stage of a customer order and progress where possible

Liaise with various departments to ensure customer requirements can be met

Managing customer expectation regarding updates, issues or delays

Working along side the finance teams to ensure correct invoicing and prompt payments.

Essential requirements

A confident communicator, with a polite but tenacious telephone manner and the ability to build strong working relationships with colleagues and customers

A commercial, common sense approach

Experience within a comparable customer service or logistics role would be ideal

Proficient in Microsoft packages (Excel and Word)

Ability to operate at pace under pressure, whilst not sacrificing quality and accuracy

Numerical and analytical skills

Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritise and multi task

Recognise the importance of attention to detail, yet awareness for the bigger picture

Desirable requirements

Experience in a similar role preferably in manufacturing.

Strong organisational skills with the to prioritise tasks effectively.
