The Cornwall and Isles of Scilly People Hub provides an important focal point for residents across the county, combining direct employment and skills support through a dedicated team based across the county, as well as providing a critical referral service to all other employment and skills provision across Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly.

Part-funded by the European Social Fund (ESF), with investment from Cornwall Council and using specialist delivery partners, the project will signpost people to our partner projects or deliver support based on Information Advice and Guidance principles to help remove barriers to employment.

The People Hub is an unprecedented opportunity to provide a focal point for all those looking to progress with training or into employment. It will make a real difference to hundreds of lives in Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly. We are seeking a Connector to provide a high-quality, first point of contact for eligible individuals accessing the People Hub, undertaking triage and using Information, Advice and Guidance (IAG) principles to make appropriate referrals to delivery partners or a range of ESF and mainstream providers.

The Connectors will also provide a vital link between eligible participants and the range of other European Social Fund and mainstream support that is available in the county.

The postholder will:

- be an important source of information, with a range of knowledge about all the help and support that is on offer, documenting initial response work with participants.
- provide effective support for eligible participants based on IAG principles and goal setting, developing effective action plans based on SMART objectives for participants.
- develop and maintain of excellent professional relationships with delivery partners and other stakeholders.
