**Roles and Responsibilities**
Hawick Veterinary Practice is seeking to employ a full time Patient Care Assistant.
As the only veterinary practice in town, we are a busy mixed animal practice with many opportunities for development.
We are a team of nine veterinary surgeons, four registered veterinary nurses and a patient care assistant.
We are proud to be able to offer our clients a variety of services including
- Ultrasound
- Dental radiography
- Radiography
- Endoscopy
- Surgical facilities for routine surgeries
- We also offer our clients specialist orthopaedic, cardiology and horse dentistry appointments and surgeries with independent specialists that work from our premises.
A very high level of patient care will be expected so we are looking for someone who is keen to develop their knowledge and skills and works well alone or as part of a larger team.
Experience useful but not essential as full training will be provided.
