Colorectal Cancer Services Pathway Administrator

We are looking for an Administrator to join our Cancer Services Team, someone who is a confident communicator, who is pro-active, enthusiastic, and a committed individual. Are you looking for a new challenge and an opportunity to work with an experienced team?

If yes, then we would like to hear from you as this is an exciting new role within our team which can also provide the opportunity to work entirely from home following a period of onsite training.
Your role will be to support the Navigator and Coordinator helping to achieve the National Cancer Standards and Cancer Waiting Times. You will also work closely with clinicians, specialist nurses and other health professionals who are involved with the care and treatment of patients who have been diagnosed with cancer.
Duties will involve monitoring patients on a 62 day cancer pathway including all admin related duties required. You will need to be flexible and innovative in your approach to your role with excellent interpersonal and organisational skills and the ability to use our own initiative. Excellent attention to detail and experience of complex data collection would be beneficial. Full training will be provided.
This is a permanent full time role, however the department has a flexible approach and would welcome part time applicants. The role offers a variety of home and office working.
Duties will involve monitoring patients on a 62 day cancer pathway, including liaising with MDT coordinators at other trusts and sending over patient documentation for those patients that are transferred to other trusts.
The post holder will work within the cancer services department, supporting the Cancer MDT coordinators with their workload, in the tracking of all patients on a 62 day GP pathway, compiling the weekly MDT list for the Colorectal Tumour Site and assisting with the preparation of cancer patients for MDT discussion.
The post holder will help to maintain and improve data collection by running data quality reports for the national cancer audits and data submissions.
