**About the role**: We are looking for an experienced qualitative researcher who has a background in health, applied social science and/or psychology research. The post holder will work on a Diabetes UK (DUK) funded study which seeks to understand inequalities in access to diabetes technology between children and young people from socio-economic backgrounds and those from minority ethnic groups. As part of a broader study, the post holder will conduct and analyse in-depth interviews with parents, children and young people and support development of training materials to promote access that is more fair and equitable. There will also be opportunities to contribute to other health equity related projects. The post holder will be based within the Leicester Diabetes Centre as well as at the University of Leicester.
