Community healthcare teams are employed by MFT and deployed to us, linking closely with Manchester Local Care Organisation. Teams work as one and together to make a difference to the health of people in Trafford.

Trafford LCO is looking to recruit a motivated School Health Advisor to work in the School Health Service across the borough. The successful applicant will help to support the delivery of Health Services to Children and Young People.

The role requires you to support the School Nurses and other partner agencies to deliver timely support to children.

We require a motivated individual, who is keen to learn, responsive to change and who is able to demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills and team working. An awareness of safeguarding issues and a broad understanding of children and young people’s physical and mental health issues both locally and nationally is required.

You will undertake clinical duties as delegated by the Senior School Nurse, providing excellent standards of evidence-based client-centred interventions for the identified population. This will include carrying out delegated tasks within client’s homes and in schools.
