Finance Apprentice

We are recruiting a Finance Apprentice to join us.

As part of the apprenticeship, you will be required to complete the AAT qualification. Your studies will be supported by in house training alongside the 20% off the job training required as part of the Apprenticeship Scheme.

Our induction programme will involve partnering up and shadowing the Finance Controller to help build you knowledge and confidence as you get to know the role.

**Your day-to-day tasks**
- Learn to process all invoices and accurately code them to the general ledger.
- Understand how the above fits in with the financial accounts.
- Acquire skills to reconcile supplier statements.
- Ensure all relevant invoices and statements are obtained from suppliers.
- Ensure that information provided is timely and accurate.
- Eventually become responsible for the preparation, checking, and posting of bank transactions.

**Skills & Knowledge**
- Undertake the apprenticeship training, including an AAT NVQ qualification.
- Basic Computer skills including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Minimum of 5 GCSEs (Maths grade 4 (at least C)).
- Excellent written, verbal communication and listening skills.
- Attention to detail.
