We are looking for a Vehicle Trimmer to join our team in Hengrove

Reporting to the Engineering Manager you will be carrying out repairs on damages.

Main Responsibilities:

- Ability to retrim and repair damaged seats.
- Ability to strip off covers and send for patterns making
- To control stock levels of premade covers, padding and material for retrimming of seats.
- Ability to make seat covers from templates and sew together.
- Ability to organise, prioritise and schedule work.
- Communicate effectively with suppliers, stores and other depot colleagues and superiors.
- Ability to be self-motivated, work efficiently and as part of team.
- To fully comply with all HS & E legislation along with Group policies.
- To fully comply with all relevant Engineering SOPs.
- Maintain and develop technical skills as required.

**Requirements**:

- Minimum level 3 NVQ standard or equivalent (i.e. City & Guilds level 1 & 2).
- Use of sewing machine and cutting equipment.
- To participate in relevant training updates.
