Background:
This role within the ICAS Member Engagement & Communications team will connect, communicate with, engage and support a range of audiences, including our diverse Students and Members in the UK and around the world, the firms where they work and ICAS staff.

The Communications Executive will be responsible for creating a targeted, seamless and customer centric approach to the way we communicate with these audiences. This post will play a pivotal role in improving the satisfaction of ICAS’ stakeholders by driving improvements in the creation, delivery and impact of communications.

One area of focus for the Communications Executive will be improving the satisfaction of ICAS Students and ensuring that the right messages reach the right Students, in a format to suit their needs.

The role will also be responsible for implementing a complimentary ATO (Authorised Training Office) communications strategy to ensure our training firms are engaged and aware of the key points in the Student journey.

**Who do we need?**

Experience in creating video and other multimedia content, including research, storyboarding, filming, interviewing, editing, post-production and distribution would also be very useful.

Educated to a degree level within Communications, you will be a dedicated, self-starting communications expert. Not only confident with the written word, you will be a clear and concise communicator, comfortable with presenting to stakeholders at all levels with an ability to adapt your style to ensure you take people with you.

Whilst able to work effectively and creatively on your own, relationship building and stakeholder management will be key to success in this role. You will work across various teams within Member Engagement & Communications, Learning and Customer Experience to create and deliver Student and ATO communications, and champion continuous improvement of the Student experience at ICAS.

**The role**:
The purpose of the Communications Executive is to ensure that we connect, communicate, engage, and support our diverse audiences by creating a targeted, seamless, and a customer centric approach to the way we communicate with them.

The Communications Executive will play a pivotal role in improving the satisfaction of ICAS Students by driving improvements in the creation, delivery, and impact of our communications.

The role will ensure that the right messages reach the right Students, in a format to suit their needs, embed the Student Value Proposition, and enhance the overall experience of ICAS Students.

The role will also be responsible for creating and implementing a complimentary ATO (Authorised Training Office) communications strategy to ensure our training firms are engaged and aware of the key points in the Student journey.

**Key experience**:

- Educated to degree level in Communications.
- Excellent writing and editing skills, and able to write in plain English.
- Ability to vary tone of voice, style and content format to suit different target audiences and channels.
- Experience and understanding of social media.
- Ability to work quickly under pressure and manage deadlines and priorities.
- Excellent multi-tasking, planning and good time management.
- A team player who can build collaborative relationships at all levels across the organisation.
- Knowledge of and interest in digital trends and concepts.
- Excellent research and analytical skills with a strong attention to detail.
- Sound judgement and decision-making skills.

**Principal Accountabilities**
- Work collaboratively with both internal and external stakeholders, particularly ICAS colleagues in the Learning, Member Engagement and Customer Experience teams, to create and deliver targeted, engaging and personalised communications.
- Develop, review, and improve the ongoing annual programme of Student communications and the Student Value Proposition.
- Work collaboratively with ICAS colleagues and undertake research to identify Students for content opportunities and work with Students on content creation, including interviewing, storytelling, writing and editing.
- Build a Student communications strategy and take responsibility for mapping the Student journey across ICAS’ digital channels - identifying and addressing any gaps in existing Student facing communications.
- Build an ATO communications strategy, identifying and addressing any gaps in existing ATO facing communications.
- Champion the continuous improvement of communications within ICAS.
- Provide support to the Corporate Communications Manager and other members of the content and communications team as required.
- Collaborate with the Marketing team to develop and create engaging and innovative content that supports key campaigns and strategies.
- Ensure all communications reflect the ICAS brand values, tone of voice and communications and content strategy.
