Full Time experienced hotel receptionist required for a beautiful, luxury hotel and restaurant located approx 9 miles West of Ipswich, Suffolk. The hotel is in a fabulous location and offers a unique setting for guests.

This is a great opportunity for someone who would like to be part of an exciting, expanding business which will soon be opening a wonderful spa and wedding venue making the facilities exceptional.

We are looking for someone with excellent customer service skills to be front of house and the main point of contact for welcoming all guests to the venue.

The hours are 7am - 3pm/ 3pm - 11pm -as with all hospitality roles the hours will include weekends and bank holidays ( on a rota basis )

The job will entail:

- Managing the bookings for both the hotel and restaurant and soon to be spa and wedding venue
- Liaising with Managers and other team members within the business
- Working within a small, established team.
- Welcoming guests and handling the check in/ check out process for the hotel
- Taking payments and handling transactions
- Being the first point of contact for anyone entering the building and handling deliveries etc
- Helping guests with any queries/ taxi bookings etc

The successful applicant will:

- Have at least 2 years hotel/hospitality experience
- Hotel reception experience essential
- Demonstrate excellent customer service and communication skills
- Be highly personable, polite and well presented
- Have an excellent telephone manner
- Be a proficient IT user-preferably hospitality specific systems.
- Car driver due to semi-rural location

An exceptional working environment and a salary of between £26,000 and £28,000 will be offered to the successful person. References will be required upon request.
